As people honor the victims of Monday's massacre at Virginia Tech, stores are selling out of Virginia Tech apparel.
Virginia Tech family members all over the country have declared Friday an Orange and Maroon Effect Day, inviting everyone in the country to wear orange and maroon to support the school, community and family members of the victims.
Modell's Sporting Goods in Fair Lakes, Va., is one of the stores that has already sold out of Virginia Tech shirts. News4's John Friess said the store was expecting a shipment of shirts Thursday night but was also expecting to sell them fast.
Many businesses are stocking up on Hokies apparel because of the tragedy.
