ADELAIDE model Erin Fowler is one of the faces behind a cutting-edge fashion launch by sexy swimwear label Azzollini.
Erin will feature in Sydney at the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week which starts on April 30.
Designer Michael Azzollini - who infamously featured former Adelaidean and Bali jailbird Michelle Leslie in last year's show - is surprising audiences once more by showcasing a video clip instead of a fashion parade.
Ms Fowler was one of eight models filmed for Azzollini yesterday by award-winning UK director Don Cameron, who has produced film clips for rock groups Garbage and Blur.
"We had to have her, because she can dance," said Michael Azzollini, whose "Let's Get Physical" video, featuring his spring/summer 2008 collection, will be shown in Miami and New York. "We wanted girls who had style and looked realistic. She's great."
A former ballerina, who features in the fashion pages of the May issue of the Adelaide* magazine , Ms Fowler says her classical dance training gave her confidence. "It made me aware of how I stand and how my body moves, particularly in front of the camera," she said.
Ms Fowler's Adelaide model agency, Finesse, agrees.
"She studied ballet for years, and came to Finesse with beautiful deportment," said director Brigette Mitchell.
"She's becoming highly sought-after and spends most of her time travelling - you've got to get in line to book her here."
The May issue of the Adelaide* magazine is free in The Advertiser on Thursday.
